This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which The Executive Space (Pty) Ltd (‘TES’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’) processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, No. 4 of 2013 (‘POPIA’), and applicable international data protection laws including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the United Arab Emirates Federal Data Protection Law (PDPL), to the extent that TES processes data of individuals in those jurisdictions.

This Privacy Policy informs data subjects of:

  • The legal bases that justify such processing;

  • The rights afforded to data subjects under applicable law;

1.8 Data Retention

  • Enquiries: up to 12 months

  • Job applications: up to 24 months

  • Client data: up to 5 years according to applicable law

After this, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

1.9 Data Security Measures

We use reasonable physical, technical, and organisational safeguards. While we take all necessary precautions, no online system is 100% secure.

1.10 Security Breach Notification

In the event of a breach, TES will notify:

  • The Information Regulator

  • All affected individuals

Details will include nature, impact, corrective actions, and recommended user steps.

1.11 Cookies

Only essential cookies are used for site functionality. No marketing or analytics cookies are used.

1.12 Children’s Information

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. Any discovered data will be deleted.

1.13 Third-Party Websites

TES is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of linked third-party websites.

1.14 Cross-Border Data Transfers

We may transfer data internationally (e.g., via Google Workspace) only when:

  • There is adequate data protection in the destination

  • Consent has been provided

  • It is contractually necessary

  • It benefits the user and does not cause harm

Where personal information is transferred to or from the United Kingdom or the United Arab Emirates, TES ensures such transfers meet the requirements of the UK GDPR and PDPL respectively, including contractual safeguards and consent-based justifications.

This policy may be updated at any time. Changes are effective upon posting.
